As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the design, development and implementation of complex supply chain models and processes that expand and optimize the supply chain network to enable profitable sales growth. As project manager – PMO Supply Chain, you may represent the EMEA Supply Chain organization on multiple project teams as well as lead your own specific projects.
The best part about this role is that no two days are ever the same! Working as a Project Manager you’ll get involved in:
- Manage and monitor project or program schedules, progress and costs to ensure that expected results are delivered on time and within budget
- Maintain, adjust and update project plans as needed. Ensures that multiple projects meet specified timelines and deliver expected results
- Design and implement improvements to project management methodology and tools as PMO
- Lead supply chain sub-teams to develop and implement new working models and processes
- Partner with IT to deliver system solutions for new business processes
- Organize testing and training for all business partners
- Consolidate, communicate, and ensure resolution of all issues
- Provide functional expertise to assess potential financial and operational impact
- Facilitate cross-functional process to create business cases for supply chain transformation & investment
- Develop and delivers presentations to all levels of the organization regarding project scope, status updates, change management and steering committee decisions
- Document decision-making, work processes and ways forward after project conclusion, including conducting post-mortem/lessons learned for application in future projects
We’ll look to you to bring your experience, knowledge, and passion in the following:
- Project management: large-scale or multiple mid-sized projects; including all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, human resources and communications
- Collaboration: Working across functional areas to develop effective business solutions that align with company and business unit/department objectives
- Business Case Development: Requirements gathering, development, analysis, and presenting for decisions
- Bachelor or Master’s preferably in Business Management, Logistics, SC Management or equivalent
- Knowledge of PM methodologies, from initial justification through implementation and evaluation
- Functional Knowledge: Supply Chain Operations or Logistics experience
- Project Management certification a plus (SCRUM, PMI/PMP, PRINCE2, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project
