Job Purpose and Mission
This job contributes to Starbucks success by driving the global FSQR strategy in EMEA within. This role is responsible for providing support to Starbucks EMEA teams through product information set-up, assessments and management on all areas of Beverage data points. Working closely with the Beverage Developers, FSQ, Regulatory, Nutrition and Sourcing teams to generate, replicate and review all beverage date information from BOM’s, Specs, MOP etc using the Starbucks recipe management system. Along with extensive cross-functional interaction within the business, this partner is required to work externally and engage with key stakeholders such as Food Alert, QikServe. The majority of this role will be supplier management to ensure accurate and detailed specification is adhered in order to achieve KPI targets.

- Ensure specification accuracy for EMEA sourced products
- Subject matter expert
- Create, develop and maintain all beverage recipes for the EMEA region
- Ensures nutritional and allergen data is accurate for EMEA sourced products for EMEA
- Normal working hours, however, flexibility may be required on occasion depending on business needs
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicates status updates on specification progress, highlighting any issues with timings and works collaboratively with other functions to ensure products are launched on time with complete and accurate data
- Effectively supporting our suppliers, managing safe and legal compliance reducing regulatory and reputational risk to the business.
- Reviews and manages the completeness and accuracy of specifications data within the specification system according to the correct timelines. Highlights any inaccuracies and works with suppliers to ensure all data is accurate
- Build, develop and continually promote a culture of safe and quality data throughout out the business
- Translate legal and technical papers into effective risk communication
- Manage areas of responsibility on a risk-based approach
- Keep up to date with regulation changes, technical trends, emerging risks & risk activity
- Support with Nutritional and Allergen Information Management
- Take ownership for continued professional development to ensure sufficient skill and knowledge and expertise to carry out all duties by interfacing with outside experts, organizations, suppliers and key partnerships.

- Monitors performance of supplier data KPI metrics, Identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Maintains quality and product information databases and critical files.
Knwolege,Skills and Experience
- Degree/diploma level food safety qualification essential, from a recognised qualification route (i.e. Royal Institute of Public Health, CIEH)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical role
- Experience across large market or multi-site business
- intermediate level experience in MS Office packages, including Excel
- Ability to balance needs of the business against legal requirements and/or guidelines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytic and critical thinking skills
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, changing priorities and to prioritise effectively
- Ability to use initiative, anticipating required support and taking (or proposing) appropriate action
