Are you a supply chain mastermind?

We're looking for a passionate and analytical Supply Planner to join our dynamic team in Amsterdam! This role is crucial in optimizing the flow of our products through the supply chain, ensuring customer satisfaction while maximizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

What you'll do:

As a Supply Planner, you will contribute to Starbucks' success by managing supply planning for strategic finished goods from EMEA internal and external manufacturers. You will develop and implement supply plans that balance demand forecasts with production capabilities, while adhering to strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize product flow through the supply chain by developing production and supply plans.
• Develop and implement supply plans to maximize service levels, inventory turnover, and cost efficiency.
• Support the Sales and Operations Planning process by creating and maintaining supply reviews.
• Participate in cross-functional project teams, including new product launches and supply chain improvements.
• Communicate service issues and solutions to relevant stakeholders.
• Utilize planning system tools to create efficient planning and production solutions.
• Analyze manufacturer and supplier performance to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and quality procedures.

Thrive in this role if you have:

• Max. 2 years' experience in supply planning or a related operational position using advanced inventory or planning systems.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of purchasing, demand and supply planning, and inventory management processes.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Fluent in English.
